Required Skills:
Applied Epic Integration
Hands-on experience using the Epic SDK (SOAP).
Experience with DevCenter REST APIs.
Understanding of Epic data structures for Employee Benefits: plans, enrollments, coverages, commissions, policies, accounts, etc.
Salesforce
Strong Salesforce data modeling and integration patterns.
Experience working with Salesforce via REST/SOAP, Platform Events, and/or middleware orchestration.
ETL / Middleware
Proficiency with one or more: MuleSoft, Synatic, Azure Data Factory, Logic Apps, Boomi, or similar.
Strong background designing reliable, secure ETL pipelines.
Azure
Building secure, scalable integrations using:
Azure Functions
API Management- Azure Storage (Blob/Table)
Key Vault
Event-driven or serverless architectures
General
Experience designing secure, performant, auditable data flows.
Ability to work autonomously with a distributed team.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Role Overview
The engineer will be responsible for:
Designing and implementing bi-directional integrations between Salesforce and Applied Epic.
Creating robust ETL pipelines to synchronize Employee Benefits data.
Managing authentication, security, and governance across Azure components.
Troubleshooting integration failures and optimizing data flow performance.
Collaborating with Salesforce admins, Epic SMEs, and solution architects.
