In this role, you will:
Lead engagements that are generally between $250k-$1M in size that include multiple practice and solution areas
Be responsible for the execution of the company activities, deliverables, and performance for consulting engagements. Lead client implementation service delivery, providing management and oversight of the entire project from initiation through project closure
Manage multiple parallel small to medium engagements at one time
Determine client project requirements, expectations, and project scope. Develop strategies and an operational plan for customers to deliver technology solutions
Manage diverse requirements, negotiate, and effectively articulate the rationale and vision behind technical decisions that support the business
Be a trusted advisor to client leadership to set the right technical skills and resource plan to execute against engagement initiatives
Maintain project oversight and alignment by proactively managing changes to established scope and processes so that risks are kept to a minimum and effectively owned, managed or resolved.
Drive client communications and governance - effectively communicate progress, deliverable expectations, issues, risks, and items needed from the Client team
Be responsible for engagement, health, and economics. Monitor the financials and cost controls on the project throughout the delivery lifecycle, which includes rebalancing the budget and schedule as things change, and approving outgoing invoices. Ability to maintain accurate resource forecast schedules and budgets.
Identify and assess risks associated with technical projects and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans
Research, analyze, and recommend solutions to meet business and technology needs
Lead large engagement teams. Be responsible for mentoring project team members, provide real-time feedback, and aligning results with customer expectations
Closely work with and lead a highly skilled engagement delivery team to guide, help implement, and deliver solutions on time
Manage deliverable quality, timeline,s and sign-off with the Client
Have the ability to potentially travel up to 30%
In this role, you will have:
2+ years of experience working in a technology consulting organization and 6+ years of overall engagement management experience
The ability to conduct very complex and vital work with full autonomy and complete latitude for independent judgment
Strong relationship-building and management skills
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile. Demonstrated experience delivering Agile projects
The ability to be proactive in managing challenging situations, leading large teams
Organizational skills that allow you to manage complex, multi-threaded engagements and activities
Salesforce implementation experience is required
Snowflake and data engineering experience are preferred
Analytics implementation experience is preferred
Proven experience in taking highly conceptual business needs and translating them into a solution that can be effectively implemented
Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate those into technology and operational requirements
Strong presentation and communication skills
Enthusiastic, professional, and confident team player with a strong focus on customer success who can present effectively even under adverse conditions
Experience leading and being a mentor to multi-disciplined teams
Strong understanding of fundamental project management skills, including scope management, schedule management, budget management, and risk/issue management
